TSUYU, a rainy season in main land of Japan lasts from about the middle
of June till about the middle of July. Hokkaido has no rainy season.
梅雨は日本の本州で6月中旬頃から7月中旬頃まで続きます。 北海道に梅雨はありません。
It doesn't rain every day during Tsuyu, but it rains a lot and humid.

While many countries of the world celebrate their own Mother's Day at different
times throughout the year, there are some countries such as Denmark, Finland,
Italy, Turkey, Australia, and Belgium which also celebrate Mother's Day
on the second Sunday of May.
年間を通して自分のお母さんを賛美する国が多い一方で、デンマーク、フィンランド、イタリア、トルコ、オーストラリア、ベルギーといったいくつかの国は、５月の第2日曜日の母の日にお母さんを賛美します。
The second Sunday in May is Mother's Day also in Japan. On this day many
people thank their mothers by giving them carnations or a gift, helping
their mothers, or doing the other things.
日本でも、５月の第2日曜日は母の日です。この日に多くの人はお母さんにカーネーションを送ったり、家事の手伝いなどして感謝を表します。
イギリスではMothering Sundayというそうです。

At the Childrens Day on May 5th, carp streamers known as "Koinobori" are hung
to celebrate the boys, who are supposed to grow as strong as the carps that can
swim upstreams. The holiday is on May 5th, but the streamers are put up long
before that. Places where you can expect to see them hung are from large poles
at homes where boys live, or in long lines across rivers.

"decorate"や"put
up"でもよいようです。
大体の意味：5月5日の子供の日に「こいのぼり」で知られる鯉のふきながしが吊るされる。男の子が、鯉が瀧をのぼるように強く育つように、祝ってつるされる。
その日は5月5日だが、そのしばらく前から鯉のぼりは飾られる。男の子が居る家や川などで見ることができる。
